The Black illusion Dance crew is a renowned dance collective with over 30 members that has offered a vibrant platform for Kenyan youth to engage in productive talent nurturing programs. The group was formed in 2017 and has seen tremendous growth with the vision to be the leading dance collective in East Africa working with talented youth across East Africa and beyond.

The dynamic Black illusion dance crew has graced various stages performing at corporate events, parties, shows and other events crystallizing their reputation as one of Kenya’s top dance crew. The group has mastered in perfection various dance styles incorporating traditional and contemporary East African styles and self-taught original dance styles.



With goal to empower the youth and offer a platform for expression, Black illusion dance crew also espouses the values of love, harmony, resilience and positivity in the approach to reaching and positively impacting the youth through dance. The Black Illusion crew has performed at the Bomba la Sanaa a popular Tv program on TV 47. Crew members including Sila Simba,Phallen, Butler, Hans Newtons have been actively involved with different aspects of dance as a tool for transformation and ascertain the fact that dance has great potential to impact not just the young but the whole society at large.

Black Illusion crew aspires to create their own dance studio which will serve as multi-purpose space having chroma key green screen for video production, dance floor for classes, chill spot or resting space to further the group mission and vision in the long term. The groups active participation in events in 2021 is expected to attract more youth to the platform to engage in training as professional dancers and eventually inspire self reliance by creating employment and jobs through the performing arts sector.

The group currently based in Karen area in Hardy is flexible to perform at shows In and outside Nairobi City and also aspires to be engaged in different dance tournaments in a bid to expand their platforms and express their skills to motivate current and aspiring members who would love to pursue dance and performing arts and higher and more professional level in Nairobi and regionally.

  Cannibal (the chosen1) born, Ralph Sanda Masai is an East African recording and performing artist born and raised in the coastal city, Mombasa.
