Wag Band is a top Afrofusion and bongo flava music band established in April, 2020 under K-Sons Empire. The band constitutes of 10 members with diverse backgrounds blending to a powerful musical outfit that renders Bongo Flava music that inspires, moves and entertains audiences across East Africa.



 

The band whose name come from the acronym W.A.G (We Are Great) constitutes a multi-talented essemble of young talent namely; Swafly, Makini, Palvie,Ali, Sky Boy, Chidy, Toddy boy, Brook and Kyta who share a common background from the EastLand part of Nairobi City and all bring unique talent to the talent with song writing, vocal prowess, performance capabilities and more that have largely contributed to the band’s steadfast growth and fast growing popularity amongst fans in Kenya.

 

WAG band aims at proliferate their unique bongo flava music to different audience across Africa and beyond as their style of delivery and band image sets them apart in the highly competitive and dynamic African entertainment scene.

The band has been labelled as one of the most promising East African music groups , the label coordinator Pispa asserts that their aspiration for future collaboration with other world renown artist such as Diamond Platnumz, Sauti Sol, Yemi Alade will soon be realized with consistent hardwork and determination in the industry.

 

The energetic and prolific musical group WAG has performed at various regional events including; Mr & Miss Nairobi, Mr and Miss Kasarani, DJ Rimshoot Events, Peace Initiative Events and much more. Their most successful project so far includes Chutama, a Swahili bongo style feel good, party song released in August 2020 that demonstrates their prowess in making hit music with longevity and cross-over potential to the mainstream media, getting favorable media review and massive airplay in local radio stations.

 

The band’s love themed songs have been positively received, offering the brand a great chance to forge their musical ambition forward and also impact the young generation who forms the major segment of their target audience. Under the professional management of K-Son Empire, WAG band is set for great heights, the bands music is readily available on multiple digital music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Youtube Music, Itunes, Boomplay among other platforms.

  Cannibal (the chosen1) born, Ralph Sanda Masai is an East African recording and performing artist born and raised in the coastal city, Mombasa.
